Project is a one-time activity that produces a specific output and or outcome, for example, a building or a major new computer system.

  • Navigate to the Project Management>Projects tab.
  • Once in the Projects tab, you can track the projects that is already created and also create a new project.


  • To create a new Project, click the “New” button.
  • Enter the Project Name and assign the Manager.
  • Enter the Start Date and End Date and select the Status to track the progress of the Project.
  • The Routing Template allows you to select the existing routing which has the process cycles defined.
  • Select the Organisation, Account and associated Contact.
  • Assign a Team and enter the Description for this project.
  • Click the “Save” button to create a project record.

Fields to note:

Field Description
Project Name Describes the name of the project.
Project Manager Describes the consultant responsible for managing the workforce and delivering on time, on budget project implementation.
Project Account Describes the defined Project account associated with the project.
Project Contact Describes the Contact associated with the project.
Description Describes the brief requirement of the project so the team working on it is on the same page.
Start Date Describes the planned start date of the project.
End Date Describes the estimated end date of the project.
Routing Describes the list of activities has to be carried out during the project execution and in what order or sequence the activities needs to be carried out.
Project Income Describes the income recorded for a project.
Project Expense Describes the expenses recorded against a project
Status Describes the progress of the project
